The only catch is that all of their information is available in video only, either through DVDs or on your computer. • Obviously lessons are in video format, which provides great examples with little necessary reading and interpreting on your own.
• Different guitar “styles” are included, like jazz, blues, country, etc.
• The scope of the lessons takes you from beginner to intermediate to advanced concepts.
• The website is well-organized and easy to navigate, with information broken down into multiple steps.

Cons:

• The program assumes you know some guitar basics (like the parts of the guitar), so it might be difficult for someone who is just beginning.
• Little additional support is available via the member’s website, although you are able to comment on the videos or ask a question.
• No online forum is available, so there will be a delay in response if you have a specific question.
• Video Guitar Lessons is only available in video format, so someone who learns through audio or text-based methods may struggle with this program.

Customer Support:
As we’ve already mentioned, there are no online forums available through Video Guitar Lessons’ website, although you are able to submit questions to their online support team. Video Guitar Lessons also includes a FAQ section that gives you basic knowledge about all of their programs.

Overall Thoughts:
While improvements could definitely be made to the member access section of the program, the information provided in Video Guitar Lessons adequately teaches you about playing the guitar from beginner to advanced. However, program availability in other mediums (like audio and text versions) would make Video Guitar Lessons more appealing to a wider audience. Finally, while we appreciated the big name contributors to Video Guitar Lessons, we would rather the company focus on enhancing the available choices rather than spending so much time hyping their big-name contributors.
