Video Guitar Lessons Review

Video Guitar Lessons

The Basics:
Video Guitar Lessons consists of a set of video lessons available in a few different formats. You can either pay per course you want to receive on DVD ($24.95 for titles like blues, rock, jazz, etc.), per month for access to their entire online catalog ($24.95), or per year for “a la carte” lessons of your choosing ($24.95 for 20-40 lessons). The only catch is that all of their information is available in video only, either through DVDs or on your computer. Other than that, you are able to learn at your own pace. **$100 off sale right now.

Cons:

Customer Support:
As we’ve already mentioned, there are no online forums available through Video Guitar Lessons’ website, although you are able to submit questions to their online support team. Video Guitar Lessons also includes a FAQ section that gives you basic knowledge about all of their programs.

Overall Thoughts:
While improvements could definitely be made to the member access section of the program, the information provided in Video Guitar Lessons adequately teaches you about playing the guitar from beginner to advanced. However, program availability in other mediums (like audio and text versions) would make Video Guitar Lessons more appealing to a wider audience. Finally, while we appreciated the big name contributors to Video Guitar Lessons, we would rather the company focus on enhancing the available choices rather than spending so much time hyping their big-name contributors.
